I love get out of Vegas during the day when I am there. I found Nelson in March of 2008. It is not far from Vegas and worth seeing. The drive is easy and the view of the Colorado river is great. Also take the mine tour and go back in time. Some movies have been filmed there, one with Kevin Costner.

Nice place. I was looking for ghosttowns in Nevada when I found this one on ghostowns. com. Your pics convince me that I should go there. Leaving for the Americain West next saturday. Well done !
