I had a great time listening to these bands. There is just something about live music performed by people having fun that can't be captured on a CD. It was also wonderful to see so many of my Baby Boomer peers out having fun. Our generation has left its mark on every stage of life and I think we will continue to break the mold! I have something I want to say, Rock and Roll is here to stay. It's better to burn out than fade away! Larry Reid

Well Chip - You are the "Ambassador of Nashville Nostalgia". Keep up the good work as we need more guardians of the past! What a great night! Loved the music!! Next time - Let's have name tags or let everyone file across the stage and introduce themselves. What a hoot that would be! I'll definitely be on the hunt for more scans for your website! The Exotics/Charades Reunion dance was a fantastic evening of seeing old friends and reliving all those fabulous High School combo nights. Damon and I danced the night away, usually with two or three other friends. The bands were both miraculous when you consider we started listening to them almost FORTY years ago. We will need a bigger place and a much bigger dance floor for the next one and we hope it is soon. We want to bring our grown children (lots of them were there this time)so they can get a flavor of how blessed we were to grow up in and around Nashville in the sixties.A WILD night!

Thanks, Chip and Linda for a wonderful evening in Nashville at The Mercy Lounge. Great view of downtown at night. Makes ya proud to be from Nashville, best city in the world. The Charades and The Exotics were better than ever. The Spidels would be cool too. It was great to be with old friends. I look forward to the next event. The Reunion party was fantastic..I saw so many people I had not seen in YEARS..both bands were fabulous of course.but hey, Robert Early & Steve Smart..you still have the "lips"! Cannot believe at YOUR age (I of course didn't age any) that your have that much breath for the horns!!!! And Billy Adair..you are still so talented and one of the nicest people I have ever known. Loy Hardcastle..for someone that was sick, you sure did well. Wish all of our friends from Peabody could have been there. Thank you Chip for your website..it is so much fun to look at memories. I agree the dance floor needs to be larger, and I need to get in shape for that much dancing! Please do this again!

Thanks to all those who attended the party and a special thanks to Chip for all his hard work. We had a great time and would love to do this again. Great shots from the Mercy Lounge! Much appreciated hard work getting a page up so quickly as well. We'll have to speak to the folks at the Mercy Lounge about more dance floor room.... The Charades were still polished and sounded great although the Exotics wern't so bad either. Too bad the Spidels weren't there to spice up the music! I look forward to the next 60's Reunion night at the Mercy Lounge!
