Civil War living history event at the mall on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 13, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This living history will feature encampments, interpreters, flag presentations, music, battle re-enactments and firearms demonstrations. These two days will offer plenty of opportunity for visitors to get “hands-on” with history and should be lots of educational fun.
The Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is located in the shadow of the State Capitol in downtown Nashville. The 19-acre park is designed to complement the Tennessee Capitol Building, give visitors a taste of Tennessee's history and natural wonders, and to serve as a lasting monument to Tennessee's Bicentennial celebration. |
