Between 10 September - 3 October 1988, I had the privilege to visit Seoul, Korea as a member of the Greek delegation to the Seoul Olympic Youth Camp - an official event of the Seoul Olympic Games (17 September - 2 October 1988). During this time I had the opportunity to attend several Olympic events - as well as both Opening and Closing Ceremonies -, experience a taste of Seoul and parts of the Korean province and - most of all - mingle with other young people from a wide variety of cultures, exchanging views, ideas and common interests.

To... mortals like me, such opportunities only come once in a lifetime, so I took quite many shots during my stay in Seoul. I have selected the best of them and I proudly present them here, divided into four subgalleries: The Games, The Youth Camp, The City (Seoul) and The Land (provincial Korea).

WARNING: All pictures in these galleries are the outcome of scanning aged 35mm consumer films, shot with a Canon compact camera of the first in the Auto Focus range. Therefore, the quality of the images is rather low, and technical defects are often visible.
