From a walk the other day. This was a real exercise in extracting a fuzzy/hairy image from its background. Used Extract, but then used several techniques to mask away or erase litter.

PS: Adjust levels; USM; Extract (with lots of tweaking); Add a background layer; Render Clouds using two colors selected from the dog's coat; Adjust levels to darken; Add overlayer of black w/reduced opacity to darken further; down-res; frame; sign.
