Thanks Emi and Matylda. The man is my brother, holding his daughter. The fire is on a stand out in the ocean and there is a handcrafted box starting to collapse above it containing Mom's ashes. My brother built the stand and box and, with the help of our youngest brother, we were able get the fire going in the surf. This was a difficult picture to take; I had a lot on my mind. After we got back home and started to settle back into the daily routines I pulled it back up and thought it had something to it so I posted it.

This is extremely well done Dylan. My favourite besides Gavin's pics. Look at the girl's gesture and facial expression, even her hair - resting in protection and trust while there is a danger scene close by, but that wont never scare her anymore when she is in good hands. The wetness of the man's clothes is a great touch as well. Its tells what did the man do and how much affort he put. Great great one Dylan, love it. Big V
