Blue Snowball

Sedro-Woolley, Wa.

The center of this 1X1.5 degree image is about RA: 23h27m11.924s DE:+42°37'09.70"
The "Blue Snowball" (NGC-7662) is about 5,600 light years away from earth.
This particular planetary nebula is very bright in terms of nubula bright ness. This was my second try as I origonally gave it an exposure ot 10 minutes per frame.
This image is the result of 1 minutes exposures. By searching the net you will find much better images taken by larger telescopes.
In this image the nebula is the blue spot a little above and to the right of the picture.
By clicking on origonal you will get the full frame at 1 to 1.
