M82 / NGC3034

Sedro-Woolley, Wa.

This galaxy is also known as the cigar galaxy, located about 12 million light years away in the constillation Ursa Major. Located RA 09h 55m 52.2" DEC +69d 40' 47".
From an imaging point of view I don't think I will be able to do much better with this object from my present location.
The relatively high light polution and atmospheric turbulance are both detrimental.

Hutech Canon 40D,Skywatcher 120ED F7.5 900mm FL
10 X 10min. exposures stacked using nebulosity drizzle process.
10 dark/bias frames with 16 flat frames used in preprocessing.
Final processing with Danon DPP
Older Mountain Instruments MI-250 tangent arm mount guided by StarShoot autoguider on a Borg 77Ach. full exif
