NGC2682 / M67

Sedro-Woolley, Wa.

Image center RA: 08h50m 58.3s DE:+11°46' 38"
This open cluster is located in the constillation of Cancer and is about 4 billion years old, and 2700 light years away.
M67 is said to contain about 500 stars with more than a hundred of them to be similar to our own sun; and the age about the same.
In addition to a number of red giants, this cluster is said to contain 150 or so white dwarfs.
