Caldo de Res - The Finished Product

Lost Creek, PA

Soup's On! Mexican style vegetable beef soup .... "Caldo de Res".

I reduced the level of the broth for this photo in order to display the contents.

This is a great soup to serve on a rainy day ..... or even a warm day!

Pardon the hillbilly sauce ("Red Hot" Cayenne Pepper sauce). They don't sell "Cholula" in the area.

I'll take the bowl....hope you have some spare tortillas.....I'm dang hungry! Now, the hot sauce.....will it take the hair off your chest? If not, then get me another bottle of the killer sauce! That looks absolutely delicious!
