These hard working insects collect the sweet nectar from the flowers in order to process the honey.

Manuka Honey also has very strong medicinal properties. Great as an anticeptic wound dressing. It was used in WW1 and many soldiers were saved who would otherwise have died of their wounds and gangrene.
