This is a small version (1000 pixels) of a shot taken with the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 HSM at its closest focus - actually, two shots, entirely separate and hand-held, with different focus points. The bokeh of this lens at f/5 is incredible, just beautiful - it makes the Minolta 100mm f/2.8 Macro AF look crude. The colour is wonderful too. This two-layer combined shot blends focus using Vivid blending and boosts colour in a lovely way too. It is not reality, but it looks like reality. Amazing colours from the A900 and this new lens.
