This screen clip shows one of the very first video tests I did with the D5000, to check whether the instructons indicating that you could set A, S, P and get corresponding control of settings in video mode was true. Using the 35mm f1.8 lens, you can see that I was able to shoot a clip wide open and one stopped right down just by using A mode and adjusting the aperture before filming.
