This little area is obviously a sympathetic re-development of some totally inappropriate "modern"
building from the 1950s or 1960s, during which time an attempt was made to bulldoze "the lot".
Thankfully this didn't happen. Wherever one goes, past original relics or "sympathetic"
redevelopments, there are lots of intriguing little stairways and alleyways.
