Through some bushes by the side of the road I spy what I know to be part of the Blacktown International
Sports Park which was built at the time of the Sydney 2000 Olympics. What we see here is the
baseball and softball venue. Elsewhere in the complex are soccer (sorry "football") and field
hockey venues, cricket and AFL grounds, tennis courts etc. "Big Bash" cricket, first grade and
interstate matches in a variety of sports are held here.
