Twenty minutes after setting out from the station, I find myself arriving at the Great Western Highway
This hill, just to the east of St Marys must be one of the highest places between the mountains and
the sea. One can clearly see west, over the Penrith and St Marys districts to above the top of the
Glenbrook escarpment.
