Boat Harbour is a settlement comprising unregulated shacks and lean-to style buildings thrown
higglety pigglety around the back beach area. It is unconnected to any other part of suburbia
by a formal road. One can get to it only by rough SUV tracks through an especially designated area
called the Green Hills Recreation Reserve or else via Cronulla Beach. Evidently the land itself is
privately owned by some corporate entity or other and by some legal means, enables certain people
to live here, unhindered by normal building codes. It's a strange sort of place.
