Here's a 50c coin showing the side with Queen Elizabeth's likeness. All Australian coins feature
the head of state's image. In this case it is lying flat on a table being lit by an overhead light
and positioned in such a way as to achieve maximum reflection into the camera lens. The coin normally
has a silver appearance although I don't believe that it actually has much silver (as such) in its
composition. Once again, in dealing with low colour temperature light the auto white balance shows
gold. I left it that way for effect.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

What is the value of this coin, it looks lie our old threepenny bit as we used to call it, incidentally, I use mine as a ball marker when I am playing golf, dated 1944.

Nicely shot.As a coin collector, one measure of value is lack of wear on the Queen's crown. This image captures it well!

And a very nice effect it is. Pity it wasn't gold. Nice detail.

I love the job you did in capturing this image. Super detail and perspective. Although different than the coin would appear in natural lighting, I actually like the gold toning.
