WCS1823.jpg

It has stopped raining momentarily but it will begin again shortly I have no doubt. The forecast
is for clearing skies but I can't see it yet. This is not the day when one might expect bush fires
and this sign is a reflection of that - "Low/Moderate". Ever since 2008's Victorian bush fire
disaster, these warning signs (along with the authorities that control them) have become hysterical
to say the least. There's a new category on the right hand side called "catastrophic". When the
needle points to that, everyone living in a fire zone should FLEE! Yes, well that protects the fire
chief's job and the responsible government minister I am quite sure ... um .... Just where do we
flee TO exactly?
