Here, the beachside promenade seems to stretch on uninterrupted forever. There is the irregular
pulsating hiss of tiny waves impacting upon the wet sand. Silver gulls squark their perpetual
commentary. The sun is warm and the air is still. Walking conditions are nigh on perfect.
