We travel up Botany Road toward our planned route around the airport and back to the Botany Bay
shoreline. Here we have arrived at the point where the Southern Cross Freeway crosses Botany Road.
The cars stopped at the lights are emerging from the ludicrously named Millpond Road which leads
to General Holmes Drive which services the various access points of Kingsford Smith Airport. To our
astonishment there is NO pedestrian access to where we need to go. We must get across Botany Road,
return to Millpond Road (opposite) and turn right onto General Holmes Drive. Okay. Are you ready
