The stacks of containers go on and ON. Occasionally, such as in the last image, we see a stationary
railway locomotive, presumably to pull flatcars with containers. While the apparent efficiency
of rail, which can obviously carry scores of containers in a single load, goes largely unutilised,
a never ending stream of trucks, carrying single containers and belching diesel fumes, roars past.

You're right, trucks can carry only one container, however, a truck can deliver it to anywhere, while a train can go only where the tracks go. - Former truck driver in Toronto, Canada.
