Once again the silver gull numbers are a matter of note. At one stage, later today, Gerry and I will
sit down to lunch on a park bench. Forty three gulls will almost instantly arrive, seemingly from
nowhere, jostle boisterously for good postions directly in front of us, in anticipation of being
thrown some food. They will hang around for about 15 minutes, get no food and then leave - very
much in disgust
