We pass yet another S.L.S.C and tidal pool as we continue south. The Coogee club came into being
shortly after the Bondi version in 1907. It has a proud boast that NO life has ever been lost on Coogee
Beach while club members have been on patrol. Presently the club has 1000 members and 200 active
life savers doing patrol duties. There is also a strong junior ("nipper") program for the future.
