I was taking pictures around St Mary's Cathedral and discoveed a newish statue of Pope John Paul II,
a gift from the Sydney Italian community. It is made from a fusion of bronze and wax. Weighing
approximately five tons, it is the work of Italian sculptor, Fiorenzo Bacci.
