Returning to our North Beaches map, this is how far we had come (see the dotted red line). It doesn't
look much but we DID begin by first travelling north and spending some time up near the Barrenjoey
Lighthouse. I reckon we'll have made a bigger impression on the trek by the end of stage 2.
