Moving on about 50 metres enabled us to look directly down from our vantage point, to see Crater
Cove itself. Interestingly there are some rough looking shacks to be seen close to the water's edge.
I have not been able to find out anything concerning them but I suspect that they came into being
under similar circumstances to those at Boat Harbour. I have been able to determine that Crater
Cove (sometimes referred to as Dobroyd Reef) is a good place to catch john dory and squid.
