This is a rare fluke shot. I was at the Zig Zag again and happened to notice a shaft of sunlight
shining through the steam locomotive cab, made visible by the clouds of steam which seemed to be
emanating from every possible valve. The stoker had been out uncoupling the train and was about to
climb up into the cab. As he met the shaft of light, I shot this image. In raising the mid-range tones
so that I could make out some detail on the figure, I have accidentally introduced some noise which
(in this instance) looks a little like old fashioned film grain. I like the result.
