While the entrance to the reserve was the actual start of our exercise, this highest point on Barrenjoey Headland represents the geographical
commencement of the official route. We are looking north across the entrance to Broken Bay. The land opposite is the Central Coast and not really a
part of greater Sydney. The large but distant building just above left of the orientation pedestal is the huge Ettalong Memorial Club and Hotel.
