We recently came across this picture, taken during the first year we lived in the house, probably 1972/73.I had sent it to my parents with a little map of our garden on the back. I surmise that all the kitchen furniture is piled up behind the house because we were rolling down a rather festive linoleum with a green swirling pattern. You can actually see some snail-eaten Swiss chard growing in the front on the right, And I do remember the sweetpeas (a flower). They were beautiful! What amazes me is that I sent this photo to my middle class suburban parents essentially saying: Hey Mom! Hey Dad! Look at the great new house we are living in!!!
