This is a photo of the aftermath of a tomato throwing war which we came across right in front of the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.
We had no idea why all these people were throwing tomatos at each other, but later heard that it had something to do with a Russian vegetable embargo.
Looks like fun.....?
We noticed a couple walking back to the Central Station covered, head to foot with tomatoey goo.
