This would be Steve probably the day after he arrived in L.A from Midwest City, Oklahoma.
I picked him up hitch hiking on PCH just north of the airport.
He didn't have a penny to his name having spent his last money on a John Lennon album which he had no way to listen to (I think I still have it) and this fabulous chain and medallion which at least he could wear.
