| I visited Cap Cod (Massachussetts) in August-September 2011 to work on a Roseate Tern research project. During my spare time, I enjoyed photographing birds and wildlife associated with the water ecosystem; in particular, a whale-watching trip off Provincetown was an incredible opportunity to observe Humpback Whales on their feeding grounds! In both March-April 2012 & June 2013, I returned to north-eastern USA, but this time further south, in the area of Annapolis (Maryland). There, I visited several 'migration' hoptspots, with a particular interest for photographing wood-warblers in breeding plumage! Finally, in November 2014, I came back to Maryland for a brief visit, included a week-end in Montreal, Canada. This gallery has 496 images depicting 114 bird species. |
