The outer layers of cloth have been laid. White pigment was added to the resin. Due to the open nature of the honeycomb, excess resin was used which is not ideal. As a result of this and the fact that I used standard hand laying techniques (ie. no vacuum bagging), the overall weight of the finished tube was higher than I would have liked, but still no heavier than a thin walled metal tube of the same size.
