The first morning I awoke to bright daylight, and reaching over to my watch I read 11 am. Then I looked out the window and saw no traffic on the streets below. Something was wrong. Then I realized that I was holding my watch upside down, and instead of being 11, it was 5. It certainly felt like 11, but it was 5 and I was wide awake. So that first morning (and the next few mornings) I was able to explore the city before it woke up.
