Note: Female mtDNA is very slow to mutate and is best used for migration research and in some cases to rule out a birth line. For finding close relatives, up to 6-8 generations, use Autosomal DNA first. mtDNA for genealogy is difficult at best, even perfect full sequence matches could be over a 1,000 years old.
