$300 value attributed to shoot in azurite-tests made in England. Okanogan, Wash., Oct. 1.-C.H. Ballard, principal owner of the Azurite gold properties of the Slate Creek district, reports that a rich, new ore shoot has been discovered. With a few shots in the shaft, near the discovery, high grade ore was broken into, a sample of which Mr. Ballard carried with him, probably running $300 or more to the ton, the ore panning freely and adding further value to this phenomenal gold property.
