Holy mackerel! I have a bunch of baby discus in my tank! Now I have to figure out if I can keep them alive too. I'm going to have to do a lot of research today for sure!

10/02/2007 - Update: I have been able to isolate the mother and the fry on one side of the tank. The male was starting to eat any fry that swam free of the group. The mother, as of last night, was doing her best to keep them all in one place. Some were beginning to swim, and surround her. I can’t wait to get home today and see if any are still in there.

Fingers crossed…

10/03/2007: Mamma ate the babies, or they got lost in the night and died. I am now looking at setting up a special breeding tank for them.
