Today was Teri’s birthday. We slept in (until 7:30AM!!! WOW!) and then had our coffee in bed as we watched a funny movie. It was her day and she chose to go on a long hike. We dressed and jumped into the Jeep for a drive to Ohiopyle State Park.. She wanted to hike along trails that had waterfalls. We started at Cucumber Falls, where I snapped this shot, and then did a four-mile loop. It was such a GREAT DAY!! Once we left the first falls we didn’t see another human until we came back to the roads. The serenity and beauty of the day will be in my mind forever. On the way home we stopped by Ivy’s Café in Ligonier for diner.

I must have done something right because she has told me it was the best birthday ever quite a few times…
