I took a day off from work to do some work around my apartment as I’ll be having a guest stay for a few days and the place was a disaster. After a morning of cleaning I just couldn’t stay inside any longer, it was just TOO nice outside. Grabbing my gear I headed north to McConnell’s Mill State Park. I wanted to take this photo and knew the light about this time of day would be perfect.

After taking the photo I realized I had my fishing tackle in my camera bag. I decided to indulge myself in my old favorite pastime and did a little fishing. A little hiking, a lot of casts and changing lures and eventually I caught a decent fish. Now, when people make me crazy as I drive through the city I simply recall the experience and I am calm… ;-)
