Having Friday off, I spent the morning in a marsh. I carefully crept into the back end of the wetland, finally remembering to turn off my cell phone after one untimely call. I slowly worked my way behind a tree and waited. I spotted a number of creatures but chose this one as my photo for the day. This mother Wood Duck had just came down a tiny tributary in front of me. After spotting my lens, she raised the alarm and let the whole marsh know where I was located. This is her making a ruckus near me. She didn’t let up and I eventually had to just leave my spot. LOL
