Pittsburgh, PA

After spending a beautiful Saturday in my office all day, yuck, I just didn’t feel like sitting around the apartment alone. After a brief nap, man I’m getting old, I headed downtown to check out the Arts Festival. It was really jammed full of people, too much so for me really. I wandered around looking for a shot. I think I finally found one as the sun began to set.

This is the fountain at the Point, a place where the Monongahela and the Allegheny Rivers meet to from the Ohio. The water from this fountain is actually from a 4th river that flows under ground at this point.

Just 16 days till Cat come back!

Excellent - the form of the fountain echoes both the hill on the horizon AND the group of people in the foreground. Great eye!

Fine framing - I love the silhouette effect.
