Ok, another cat shot in a sea of digital cat photos…LOL The reason I took this one is simple though. I finally purchased the Canon timer remote controller, TC-80N3. I’ve wanted this for a long time, both as a remote switch and also for the timed photo ops I can do with it. The first thing I wanted to do was longer exposures with the mirror lock-up enabled. Before, with out the remote, pressing the shutter release to take a shot using mirror lock up resulted in too much camera shake. I’ve read on many forums how sharp a photo can be using this technique. This is much sharper than I could have done by hand. Next time I’ll try the only “L-glass” lens I have and see how much sharper I can get it. I’d do it now, but he woke up!!

Very sweet shot of a sleeping kitty, perhaps the best ways to get them to pose!

Very nice Ron, I have tried to get some pictures of my dog sleeping but she can hear me moving and gets up to see what is going on.
Cannot wait to see the next attempt with the other lens.

I like the lighting in this. The cat seems sooo at peace and warm. I need a vacation as relaxing as he looks hahahaha
