Carnegie Museum of Natural History

I know I shot something from the Allan Houser show last week, but this is a new month and I like this show so much. We have one day left to finish setting up this exhibit and things are looking very nice. This guy is one of the larger bronzes. I actually had to set my tripod on a lift so I could get it about 9 feet (2.75m) in the air to get this shot. Being that the lift will be gone until summer when we take this down, I figured I’d take this moment to get the shot.

I was wondering what he was going to look like in the end! :> Saw your earlier picture of this fellow in your January gallery - this one is simply fabulous. Terrific lighting, wonderful crop, vivid colors. Another excellent image, Ron - very well done!

Another awesome shot. This museum is great, but it doesn't hurt to have the ability to bring in a lift to get the right perspective on the exhibits. :) Now, will photography be permitted on this exhibit?! I hope so! Anyway, a fine composition. Your museum gallery is very impressive. I'll have to go through it when I have some time.
