Carnegie Museum of Art

Perhaps I should explain this shot a bit. The museum was closed today, so when it came time for my usual lunchtime stroll to shoot I decided to see what parts of the building I could capture with no people around. I didn’t know they were having a special Holiday party for handicapped children in architecture hall. I spotted this clown and had to get a shot, she was just such a contrast to the classical feel of the room.

I like the humerous nature of this photo - a nice juxtaposition between the seriousness of the setting and the clown

What a wonderfully humorous capture, Ron - and what a great place to "have" to go to work! :> Great work, here.

Ron,
I like the incongruity presented here. It's hard to find them but this is wonderful! Roberta

LOL. ;-) No Photoshop foolery here! That would defeat the whole purpose. :-)

Thanks for the explanation. I was staring at this yesterday, and couldn't figure out what was going on, thought maybe you had gotten all nutty with Photoshop! Now it makes sense, and I like it!

This is just fantastic...the colors of the clown in contrast with the ivory tones of the museum. Provokes questions:)
