1# Lean Ground Beef
1/4 Cup Onion - chopped small
1/4 Cup Green Bell Pepper - chopped small
2 cloves of Garlic - minced
1 Tspn Prepared Yellow Mustard
3/4 Cups Ketchup (Heinz 57 of course)
3 Tspns Brown Sugar
2 Tbspns BQ Sauce
Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper to Taste
Buns of your choice
Over medium heat, brown the meat in a skillet with the onion, garlic and green pepper. Drain off any fat or grease once browned.
Stir in the yellow mustard, ketchup, brown sugar and BQ sauce. Reduce the heat and let this simmer for 30 minutes or so, until everything is nice and thickened.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve on buns of your choice.
