My neighbor Ryan took me around the vicinity of my place one early autumn afternoon.
This is my first attempt at aerial photography from a small plane.
We were flying in a beautiful Cessna 150. We flew from Villeneuve airport out to
Lake Wabamun and return. Most fields were looking green but some were swathed.
The best part of it...I actually took control of the plane for about 15 minutes
during the climb to altitude...WHAT A RUSH!!!
I'll be adding more photos to this gallery in the next few weeks as we have plans to fly again one the autumn colours are at their prime (early October, weather permitting)
Hi Dave, I followed a link from your VT page and here I am. I'm envious ... I want Ryan to be my neighbor! Great shoot! ~ Valorie (tropicgirl77)

Hey Dave, What a rush! Very nice Cessna too. Was great to get a bird's eye view of your place. You're lucky to have such a nice neighbour. Happy future flights in Autumn colours. Lou (alza)

I do remember my first flying lessons well. I was too darn busy trying not to be nervous and to learn, it never occured to me to take pictures. I guess thats the differnce between us, you are always a photographer first, eh? (Good job Dave!!!I just spent a couple of weeks in O"ahu, I will send ya a few of my memories.....soon.
