Wild Horse Monument

Seattle, Washington

The monument, done by David Govedare, is not too far from the parking area off of the Eastbound lanes of I-90. However, the trail is steep and treacherous. Going up isn't too bad, but sandy soil and loose jagged rocks make the trip back down only for the reasonably sure-footed. They are worth viewing even from a distance, because of their life-like feel, in what was at one time, real wild-horse country.
