Misty, wet, socked in and cloudy for the first part of today's hike to S Pack and N Pack Monadnock. Had to step carefully on the slippery rocks but still made decent time on this almost 8 mile hike with 2300 ft of ascent elevation. When I got to the cliff on the Cliff trail the sun broke through the clouds and the light was just beautiful! Still a little color in the the Monadnock region!
