Wow was this a wet hike! Glencliff trail to Carriage Rd to the summit of Moosilauke (4802 ft). 7.8 miles with 3300 ft of ascent elevation. There were sections on the Carriage Rd where I was up to my knees in wet slush from the melting snow. A bit of everything today on this beautiful mountain. I used micro spikes after 3900 ft up to the slush pile and the same on the way down. 5.5 hour hike for me in the mixed conditions. Glad I had gaiters!
